Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest comment period deadline is extended until April 30th, 2008. Make a difference - WRITE!Cyclists could lose hundreds of miles of singletrack throughout Montana if proposed changes to Forest Service policies are enacted.
Important comment periods for National Forests are happening or will happen during February '08 through April '08 time frame. It is vital that you educate yourself on the issues and become part of the political process. Original letters submitted to the appropriate Forest Supervisors, Governor Schweitzer, Senators Baucus and Tester and Congressman Rehberg are important first steps in having our voices and desires heard.
Restrictive policies are coming if we do not speak up. Together we can make a difference.
